Apos built a tube amp. It’s called the Gremlin. It’s ugly and small. It has no frills. Frills are for people who care about appearances. This amp cares about one thing: results. Just two Ray Tubes, a solid frame, and all the raw power you need. You can take your complicated features and toss them.
The Gremlin comes with our 12AU7 CORE tubes. If you want, you can upgrade to 12AU7 SELECT tubes.
The Gremlin is good. Apos is good. This partnership is good.
Our boss wrote a letter about the partnership. We're sharing it as instructed. Here it is.
Hey everyone,
A few months ago, our partner and my friend Kunal, the CEO of Apos Audio, reached out with an exciting idea. He asked if Ray Tubes would be the technical partner for their new line of tube amplifiers, starting with the Gremlin Amp. When he shared his vision for the Gremlin, I got goosebumps. It was an extension of our own mission to make tube audio more accessible and bring more people into the fold. Naturally, we couldn't wait to get started.
We've been involved with the Gremlin project from the very beginning. By supplying the tubes and leveraging our expertise, we're helping Apos navigate the complexities of the tube market—the supply chain and logistics—so they can stay calm and carry on with what they do best: making a great line of amps more available and accessible to everyone.
Our partnership hasn't just sped up getting the Gremlin into your hands—it’s also paved the way for future collaborations. The Gremlin is just the beginning. We've got numerous exciting projects in the pipeline that we're really thrilled about. If you like what you hear with the Gremlin, just wait to see what's coming next. We're committed to making tube audio more accessible than ever, and we can't wait to share more with you.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions or you’re a brand that would like to enlist our help with tubes, feel free to reach out to me at nelson@raytubes.audio. We're here to listen.
Thanks for being a part of our journey.
Nelson Wu

That's the message from our boss. You can hear the Gremlin for yourself this weekend at CanJam SoCal 2024. Goodbye.
