Ray Tubes SELECT KT88 tubes are now available as single tubes, or as matched pairs or quads. As part of our SELECT collection, they’re the best KT88 vacuum tube you’ll ever need, with more involved production and stricter selection criteria. Let them bring out the best in all your favorites.
The KT88 is a beam tetrode introduced in 1956 as a variant of its smaller cousin, the KT66. Its name is derived from kinkless tetrode, an earlier name for the beam tetrode, and itʼs been popular in high-fidelity stereo systems since its introduction. Since New Old Stock of this tube is especially rare, Ray Tubes is proud to offer brand-new KT88 vacuum tubes.
The Ray Tubes SELECT Collection
We only sell the best vacuum tubes in each of our manufacturing batches. SELECT tubes? They're the best of those.
Unlock Your Amp's Full Potential
Bad tubes hold your amp back. Good ones help it achieve its very best. We know the SELECT Collection will sound incredible in your amp because it sounds incredible in our amp. (Testing vacuum tubes in real-life audio equipment shouldn't be revolutionary, but here we are.) Give your amp an instant upgrade with a SELECT tube.
Vetted By Real People
Most new tubes aren’t manufactured with audio in mind. Ours are. All our tubes are vetted by sound engineers as part of our rigorous quality control process to ensure reliable, consistent performance in audio equipment. The SELECT Collection goes a step further with even stricter selection standards, ensuring that only the best tubes receive the coveted SELECT label.
The Ray Tubes One Year Warranty
Tubes fail in all sorts of ways. That’s why warranties are rare. We have one anyway, because we put in the hard work and we stand by our products. All our tubes come with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
