Ray Tubes Partners - People & Spaces

Recording studios, mastering studios, rehearsal spaces, music venues, backlines—lots of spaces choose our tubes. They haven’t switched back.

Eric Pye is one of the most thoughtful voices writing about jazz kissa culture today. His work for eCoustics has taken readers through the back-alley bars of Tokyo, Sendai, and Hakodate. At home in Calgary, his basement listening room — green shag, vintage gear, Ray Tubes — is where all of that research comes to rest.

Jeremy Sikora has built something rare: a genuine community around the honest, unglamorous joy of hunting, fixing, and listening to vintage audio. Writing for eCoustics and posting from his Buffalo basement under the handle Budget Audiophiler, he makes the world of tubes and turntables feel welcoming instead of intimidating. His listening room runs on Ray Tubes.

Jazz Kissa at Home

Jazz Kissa at Home began in a Copenhagen living room in 2021, where Peter started gathering friends for intentional, communal listening sessions inspired by Japan's beloved jazz kissa tradition. It has since grown into a worldwide movement with chapters forming in cities across the globe. Ray Tubes is honored to be part of the system at the heart of it.

Primal Note Studios

Primal Note Studios opened in 2023 with a simple premise: give Toronto's serious musicians everything they need in one place. Rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, a live venue, a lounge. The city's first musicians' co-working space, built by people who understand that community is what actually grows a music scene. Ray Tubes powers the tube amplifiers in the space.

Rooms Coffee | 915 Dupont

915 Dupont sits unmarked on a Dovercourt side street — no signage, just a curtain — and yet it has become one of Toronto's most talked-about spaces. Chess nights, vinyl Sundays, DJ sets, pop-up dinners: owner Nigel Wang has built a true cultural hub around the belief that sound is a huge part of an experience. Ray Tubes delivers that sound.

The Little Jerry

When Jodie Dewald and Saad Qattan opened The Little Jerry in 2019, they weren't trying to build a monument to audio. They wanted a neighbourhood place with great wine, great food, and a sound system worth paying attention to. Toronto Life, NUVO, and CBC all came to write about it anyway. The tubes powering that system are Ray Tubes.
