Ray Tubes was present at the 27th edition of the Audio Video Show (AVS) in Warsaw, Poland, which took place on the weekend of October 24th-26th. By number of visitors, brands, and exhibitors, AVS is the second-largest audio event in the world and this year's show was the largest yet, featuring the cream of the audiophile crop. Among the 700 plus brands present at AVS were luminaries of the industry such as McIntosh, Bowers & Wilkins, and Audio Note. The event also featured a bevy of special guests, seminars and presentations, and live music, not to mention playing host to Poland's largest vinyl record fair.

Our presence at AVS was made possible thanks to the tireless work of BonaWatt founder Krzysztof Lewandoski. The hard work that Krzysztof and his team have put into advocating for and endorsing Ray Tubes within Poland can't be overstated. We're lucky to be working with such a committed partner. Our vacuum tubes were exhibited alongside devices such as the Triton integrated hybrid amp. We happen to think the SELECT 6SL7 is a great fit for this amp, but you don't have to take our word for it: the Ray Tubes/BonaWatt partnership was a hit with showgoers and media alike, including Wojciech Pacuła, editor-in-chief of High Fidelity magazine. Pacuła gave BonaWatt's system the coveted Best Sound label, praising the Triton's "rich and mature" sound.

It's an honor to participate in an event with as rich and storied a history as AVS. Our congratulations to the organizers for another exceptional event--we can't wait to come back next year. Until then, we have good news for Polish audiophiles looking to experience Ray Tubes vacuum tubes for themselves: as a direct result of Krzysztof's efforts, our vacuum tubes will soon be widely available in Poland. If you don't see them in your local hi-fi store, be sure to talk to the owners and put in a request. We promise it'll be worth your time!
