Phasemation

Phasemation is the hi fi audio brand of Kyodo Denshi Engineering Co., Ltd., a Japanese engineering company based in Yokohama with roots in precision electronic measurement instruments going back to 1970. The brand launched under the Phase Tech name in 2002 before being renamed Phasemation in 2010, and has since built a catalog spanning MC phono cartridges, phono equalizers, step up transformers, preamplifiers, monaural power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and headphone amplifiers. Phasemation designs its circuits around accurate phase characteristics between channels, a principle it treats as foundational to true stereo reproduction, and its tube amplifier lineup includes models built around the 300B, 845, and 2A3 triodes.
