VAC

VAC, short for Valve Amplification Company, is an American manufacturer of vacuum tube audio electronics founded in 1990 by Kevin Hayes and his father, Channing Hayes, in Sarasota, Florida. The company built its early reputation producing the Marantz Classic series of amplifier reissues for Marantz Japan in the 1990s, and today designs preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers almost entirely around vacuum tube circuits. VAC is known for products voiced personally by Kevin Hayes, culminating in the flagship Statement series, and for a level of craftsmanship that has made it one of the most recognized tube amplifier brands in the United States.
