I’m excited to announce the first product in the Ray Tubes + xDuoo collaboration: the TA-32 tube amp equipped with 12AU7 tubes from either the CORE or SELECT Collections.
The TA-32 is a hybrid headphone amp that marries the warmth of tube audio to the muscle of solid-state components. It comes with a matched pair of Ray Tubes CORE 12AU7 vacuum tubes as standard. Our CORE Collection tubes offer reliable, consistent performance, but you can take the amp's sound further by swapping them out for a matched pair of SELECT 12AU7 tubes. The SELECT line of tubes have even stricter selection standards than the CORE Collection, making great amps sound even better, with greater clarity and warmth. They’re the ideal tube to take your TA-32 up a notch—or three.
xDuoo is a company we respect and admire. They reached out about a collaboration early in the development of the TA-32. Their team was impressed by our commitment to quality control and by the improved performance of our SELECT tubes. It’s rare to see an amp like this ship with a matched pair of tubes. It took a lot of work to meet xDuoo’s parameters at the price point they were targeting, but it was worth the effort to elevate the TA-32 to another level. We’re grateful to xDuoo for the opportunity to showcase our tubes to a wider audience!
