The 2026 edition of Montréal Audiofest was held over the weekend of March 20th-22nd, and Ray Tubes was present in a big way. Montréal Audiofest is one of the largest audio shows in North America, with live music, VIP events, meet-and-greets, a thriving vinyl market, and – most importantly – over 100 exhibitors showing nearly 400 brands, including such luminaries as McIntosh, Bowers & Wilkins, Audio Note, and Burmester. We're grateful to our partners for giving us the opportunity to add Ray Tubes to their ranks!
The event took place at the Hotel Bonaventure, a historic hotel in Downtown Montréal. The Bonaventure is part of the larger Place Bonaventure, a multi-purpose building that opened in 1967 – the same year Montréal hosted Expo 67. At the time, it was one of the largest buildings ever constructed, and it's still a triumph of urban design, with a spectacular rooftop garden at its peak and connections to Montréal's Underground City below.
Ray Tubes was present at the event in four different exhibits. The biggest of these was the room organized by Linear Tube Audio (LTA), PureAudioProject, and Silversmith Audio. A matched quad of our RESERVE EL34 vacuum tubes powered LTA's Z40 integrated amplifier, with a pair of PureAudioProject's Duet15 speakers and cables by Silversmith Audio. The room was a hit with showgoers, and we'd like to extend our thanks to our friends Jacob at LTA, Ze'ev at PureAudioProject, and Jeff at Silversmith for working with us to make it happen. We couldn’t ask for better partners.making it happen!
We didn't stop there. Ray Tubes were also present at the exhibits of our brand partners Galion Audio and Joseph Crowe Custom Audio Products, as well as our Québec-based retail partner Solen Electronique Inc. A big thank you to Galion, Joseph Crowe, and Solen as well. At Ray Tubes, we like to say that our role is supporting other audio brands in whatever way we can, and with our biggest presence at an audio show yet, we’re proud to see that philosophy becoming reality.for helping us make this our biggest audio show yet.
We're honored to have shown our vacuum tubes in such prestigious company, at an event with such a storied history. Our congratulations to the organizers for another extraordinary edition of Montréal Audiofest, and here's to next year!
