Ray Tubes vacuum tubes were shown at this year's Oslo HiFi Show. Oslo HiFi Show is a new event – this was only the fourth edition – but it has rapidly grown to become the largest in the country. This year, it took place over the weekend of 21st-22nd March at the Thon Hotel Oslofjord, with dozens of exhibitors showing brands from all over the world. Local Norwegian brands and retailers like Hegel Music Systems, Sigberg Audio, Njål Hansson, Mala Audio, Mono, Neby, and Duet Audio were out in force, as were international mainstays like McIntosh. We were delighted to have the opportunity to show our tubes at an up-and-coming event like Oslo HiFi Show!
Our presence at the event was made possible by our Norwegian retail partner Sentrum Audio and our European distributor Music2. A selection of our vacuum tubes, including the Ray Tubes RESERVE 6SN7, RESERVE KT88, and SELECT 12AX7, were shown alongside the Kora TB140 integrated amp, Audio Nostrum's Saturn Pandora speakers, and a streamer and DAC by Denafrips. We're thrilled to report that the room was a hit with showgoers, and we'd like to extend our gratitude to Marco at Music2 for his help in coordinating the event and making it such a success.
Coincidentally, each of the companies involved in the exhibit hails from a different country, which means six nations were represented in a single hotel room. We love to talk about the global reach of the audiophile community, and this event really brought that home.
In addition to the exhibitors, Oslo HiFi Show also featured all the things you'd expect from an audio trade show: vinyl markets, local and international premieres of new equipment, talks and lectures, and plenty of opportunities to mingle. We'd like to congratulate the organizers on building such an excellent event in just a few years, and we're looking forward to next year.
