Ray Tubes was present at Stockholm High End Mässan (HEM) 2026, which took place on the weekend of February 14th-15th. HEM is one of the largest audio shows in Scandinavia, with dozens of exhibitors showcasing brands from Europe and around the world. Local brands were well-represented, with Swedish brands APS TubeTechnique, Green Acoustics, Soft Collective, Regal Audio, Stylus Audio, and WB Manufacture all in attendance, as were major international brands like Yamaha and Audio-Technica.
HEM has gone from strength to strength. Last year's edition was the first to expand to two venues in central Stockholm, and by all accounts this year's was even better. In addition to the exhibitors, there was a line-up of lectures, an opportunity for industry professionals to meet and mingle, and a live recording of the Wine, Vinyl & Vernissage podcast.
We were thrilled to make an appearance through our friends at BonaWatt, who partnered with Swedish distributor Meta Wave for the event. Our tubes were paired with BonaWatt's Triton integrated hybrid amp, with speakers and cables provided by Danish brand OePhi Audio. It wasn't the first outing for the BonaWatt + Ray Tubes combo - showgoers at last year's Audio Video Show also got to experience our SELECT 6SL7 tubes in the Triton amp, and we're pleased to report that the reception at HEM was just as good as last time. A huge thank you to Krzysztof Lewandoski and the teams at both BonaWatt and Meta Wave for making it all happen!
